Welcome to LookScore ("we," "our," or "us"), a service provided by Nomadan Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") available on the Apple App Store, and our website, collectively referred to as the "Service."
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner. The App is designed with privacy as a core principle -- your photos never leave your device permanently and no account is required. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Anonymous Device Identifier
The App does not require account registration, email addresses, or passwords. When you first use the App, a unique anonymous device identifier is generated on your device. This identifier is used to associate your activity with app features and subscription management. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
2.2 Outfit Photos
When you use LookScore to analyze an outfit, your photo is temporarily sent to our server for AI analysis. The photo is processed in memory and immediately discarded after the analysis is complete. We never store, save, or retain your photos on our servers. Only the text-based analysis result (score, tips, vibe) is saved.
2.3 AI Analysis
Your outfit photos are analyzed using OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini vision model. The photo is sent to OpenAI's API for processing and is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. OpenAI does not use API data to train their models.
2.4 Local Data
Your outfit history and photos are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to our servers for storage.
2.5 Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to understand how the App is used and to diagnose crashes. This data is collected in aggregate and does not personally identify you.
2.6 Payment Information
Subscriptions are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing address, or financial information. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide AI-powered outfit analysis
- To manage your subscription status via RevenueCat
- To track free analysis usage (1 free scan per device)
- To improve the App through aggregated analytics
- To identify and fix crashes and performance issues
- To protect the safety and security of the App
- To comply with legal obligations
We do NOT use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or selling to third parties.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers:
- Apple App Store -- Payment processing and subscription billing
- RevenueCat -- Subscription management
- OpenAI -- AI-powered outfit analysis (photos processed transiently, not stored)
- Firebase (Google) -- Aggregated analytics and crash reporting
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Local data (outfit history, photos) remains on your device until you delete the App. Server-side data (anonymous device ID, analysis results) is retained as long as your device identifier remains active.
You may request deletion of all server-side data by contacting us at nomadanapps@gmail.com. We process all deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure server infrastructure, and privacy-by-design architecture.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has accessed the App, please contact us at nomadanapps@gmail.com.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent regarding your personal data.
